The Public Policy and Societal Impact Hub have concluded the first round of the ANU Policy Greenhouse Fund grants, awarding 12 projects. The scheme aimed to support academics to develop policy ideas and undertake short- to medium- term projects with high public policy value. The Hub received a total of 22 proposals in the opening round – Will Sanders from CAEPR and collaborators from the National Centre for Indigenous Studies, Aboriginal Historians, Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing groups within National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health were one of the 12 successful projects. The project, Indigenous Policy in Three Dimensions: Country, Livelihoods and Political Settlement, a 2020 Vision, introduces the concept of building stronger basis for future policy making by exploring existing indigenous issues.
